You play as Arthur Ford the head of security for Monogon. The main campaign for the game has the player seemingly restarting a clock but by paying attention you know the real story. The real story is the player trying to achieve immortality by reaching the void and dying in both MythOS and in the real world. The world is made up of Void Energy which is an unstable but very useful energy source found by the same company.
Boneworks uses the hand tracking technology to fully use your hands for picking up objects and holding and reloading weapons. I like how depending on how you pick up the weapon will dictate how you use the weapon. the player fights holographic clean up crews, low poly "Null Men" and headset crabs, which is a mix between the headsets from Virtual Virtual Reality
Most VR games are about 20-30 dollars, Boneworks 29.98$ on steam. Estimated finish time is seven hours. I currently have 115 hour in the game. Although I tend to leave the computer on sometimes over night so I probably have about 20 hour of actual game play.
Boneworks has pretty great graphics compared to most VR games even though most wont notice it. When you get somewhere were there is carpet then getdown on the ground and your see ridges were the carpet pattern is. Also on the walls you can see the individual bricks in the wall and can see the spaces between the bricks. My computer has a Radeon RX570 which is a couple of revisions behind the minimum specs. I have not seen any lack in performance.
